Just as a reminder, my mission is to make OC more enjoyable for all those who already reside here.

I believe that it’s so easy to believe that OC is boring and mundane. So I want to bring the latest and greatest things to do right here in our cities.

Let’s get into it!

Here’s what’s inside today:

  • Michelin-recognized ramen in North OC

  • A new cafe spot right next door

  • An adorable, adoptable husky

  • And 15+ events to round out the week

Now let’s get into this week’s picks 👇

— Mark Yi

We’re so happy to partner with Kajabi!

I’ve Kajabi myself in my day job to help run our business so this is an especially exciting sponsor for us!

Your Entire Business Should Work as One

Most experts aren't limited by their expertise. They're slowed by scattered tools that don't connect. Starter platforms, point solutions, and mismatched workflows create chaos, cap revenue, and dilute credibility.

Kajabi is the operating system for human expertise. Identity, strategy, products, marketing, payments, and client transformation all working together in one place.

No more guessing. No more fragmentation. No more ceiling on your growth.

Clarity replaces confusion. Simplicity replaces complexity. Growth becomes intentional.

You move faster because everything connects. Built to scale, not stall.

If your expertise is real, your system should be too.

Restaurant of the Week: Ramen & Tsukemen TAO

Michelin-Recognized Ramen in North OC

If you care about ramen that actually earns its buzz, this is one of Orange County’s real standouts.

TAO isn’t just a local favorite…

It’s been recognized in the 2025 MICHELIN Guide with a Bib Gourmand, a distinction given to restaurants that deliver excellent quality at great value.

The menu is tight. The flavors are deep. And everything feels dialed in.

Here’s what people keep coming back for:

  • Tsukemen (dipping ramen). Rich, concentrated broth with thick, chewy noodles made for dipping

  • No-frills, serious ramen vibe. Focused on flavor, not gimmicks

  • Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition. High-quality ramen at prices that still feel fair

Need I say more…

Cafe of the Week: Arc Coffee

The perfect cafe for latte lovers

Vanilla latte? Check.

Blueberry matcha latte? Check.

Honey butter latte? Also a check!

Does anyone else feel like there’s a new cafe opening up every week in their neighborhood? Honestly, no complaints though.

Arc just opened in the Buena Park/Cypress a few months ago and it might just become my new go-to.

Here’s what people keep coming back for:

  • Their lattes. Especially their signatures: Honey Butter Latte and Goth Latte

  • Einspanners. Coffee and hojicha!

  • Super high quality matcha drinks

  • Super chill vibe
